The purpose of the event?
To be the premier poker tournament in India, where poker players from across the country can play, learn and test themselves against each other.
Date of the event?
25th, 26th, 27th, 28th & 29th January 2012.
How can one register and pay fees?
Registration and entry fees can be paid at the Poker Room on board Casino Royale (+91-9011013514), anytime up to the start of the tournaments. Cost of registration?
No registration fee.
Cost of entry into Casino?
Complementary entry into Casino Royale, Goa for all poker players registered for the tournament.
Can one enter the tournament through satellites?
The organizers are planning a 10k Super satellite to the main event with 4 seats guaranteed to be held on January 28th at 4pm Casino Royale, Goa. This is planned on the same day as the main event and the organizers are guaranteeing 4 entries from this satellite into the main event which starts at 9pm.
% of entry fee paid out in prize money?
90% of the entry fees will be paid out in prize money in most events, except the 3k 2X Turbo tourney to be held on Wednesday January 25th @ 9pm, which is a RAKE FREE event.

January 25th (3K 2X No Limit Hold´em Rebuy Turbo) - Starting chips: 3,000, Re-buys: 3,000, Top-up: 5,000
January 26th (5k No Limit Hold´em Double Rebuy + Add on) - Starting chips: 3,000, Re-buys: 3,000, Top-up: 5,000

What are the starting blind levels and time frames?
January 25th (3K 2X No Limit Hold´em Rebuy Turbo) - 25/50 and 20 minute levels
January 26th (5k No Limit Hold´em Double Rebuy + Add on) - 25/50 and 24 minute levels
January 27th (15K No Limit Hold´em Freezeout) - 25/50 and 24 minute levels
January 28th (10k Super satellite to main event) 25/50 and 15 minute levels
January 28th (100k No Limit Hold´em Freezeout) - 25/50 and 30 minute levels

Places being paid?
Will be decided on the day, according to the number of runners.
Any special packages for Accommodation during the tournament weekend?
We offer an early bird bonus for players registering for the 100K No Limit Hold’em Freezeout including free accommodation for 2 nights. Please contact the organizers for more details. Additionally, we would be happy to provide special accommodation rates at Taj Vivanta (Panaji) or Marriott (Miramar Beach) for all players attending the tournament weekend.
Will there be a documented list of rules available?
Yes. Tournament Director Rules will be followed.
Will there be a tournament director?
Yes. A professional casino manager from the Poker Room will be the Tournament Director and will manage the tournament.
How will disputes be handled? Who will have the final say?
The Tournament Director.
Will there be any other games during the tournament?
Cash games will be available every day with blind levels to suit all pockets, 100/200, 200/500, 500/1000, 1000/2000. Other games will be made available on request.
What about the F&B?
F&B at Casino Royale is complimentary for all tourney players during the India Poker Legend.
